Merry Wedding Month of January

All my Saturdays for January were just filled with social events! Most of it were weddings of my fellow weddingsatwork (w@wies) members. There are three weddings lined up.. A's, K's and E's. Three friends whom I found and got to know through w@w. So let's have the ball rolling,

First A's wedding (January 14):

For this wedding, I was one of the coordinators since A said that she will not have one and it will help if there is someone to oversee the wedding details. So me, together with F & J, became the coordinators since we are all done with our respective weddings already. We started the day with helping the bride with her wedding day preparations at Century Hotel in Manila. We finalized some details like the table numbers and the seat assignments for the guests. After that we headed to the reception venue at Baluarte de San Diego to set up the guests tables with the personalized items that the bride wanted. It was a very long day and tiring as well but it was all good to be able to help a friend have the best wedding that she wanted.

Chaotic hotel room. Make up, photographers, the works.. A seems to be gliding and just look at that smile! A face of a happy and excited bride!

Now for the second event, K's Tagaytay wedding (January 15):

So after the tiring day at A's wedding, the very next day is off to Tagaytay for me and hubby. We took the early trip since we have a room reserved in one of the inns along the highway so Christian can still sleep before the event and we can stay for the night to go around Tagaytay since it will be our first time to explore the area! The wedding was set at 2PM but due to the long waiting of the jeepney driver we missed K's march... Grrrr!!!! It was my or our first time inside Chapel on the Hill and it was beautiful. Hubby loves the view since he is a mountaineer (before!). He and mountains just have this something! hehehe! After the ceremony, we hurriedly went to Max's, the reception venue since we have to commute all the way and we don't want the other guests to see us walking from the church to the highway! Nakakahiya! When we arrived at the reception venue, sis J and her hubby were already there. The venue is just appropriate for the number of guests that the couple have. The food was overflowing! The serving is good for 10 people but we were only 4 people at our table. We were super full at the end of the night. Too bad that it rained but as Filipino superstitions say Rain is a blessing.

E's wedding (January 22):

This will probably one of the much awaited event that me and Xtian is excited to go to. Since we were able to act as formal as we can be! Hehehehe! He was excited because of the booze! I was excited because I can wear a gown! E assigned me as one of the offertory people so I had something nice made for me to wear. I really do not have a formal piece of clothing aside from my wedding gown and I guess the bride will not be happy if I wear that so I have one made! Xtian wore the suit he wore during our wedding. It was just formal! The church was at Sanctuario de San Jose and the reception was at Blue Leaf. The whole afternoon was lovely until it rained as the ceremony finish. Good thing it stopped when we were on our way out. At Blue Leaf, the rest of the w@w kumares were present. Too bad K was not able to come. The set up the reception was just beautiful. Flowers galore and the light set up was lovely! Too bad we did not get drunk since we have to leave early for a meeting! business meeting that is!
